My buyer for this property is a Kiwi living overseas who wanted to buy a stand alone home on a large section with potential to subdivide in the future (10 years' time).

In May 2025 I was introduced to Ben Meehan (through Nick Gentle) as my Hamilton-based property investment specialist for iFindProperty, as we had decided to buy an investment property in Hamilton. I live in Asia and all of our communications were via email, video calls and by phone. Ben organised property files, LIM reports and arranged a reputable building inspector to inspect and report on the property etc. He also walked me through digitally signing the purchase agreement (signed on a mobile phone), while negotiating a 10-hour time difference etc. No easy feat. He negotiated with the vendors for a price reduction and made all arrangements for Healthy Home inspections/reports, as well as getting information from the vendors along the way. He then arranged building quotes for HH compliance work. Ben then recommended property management companies to choose from, which I am very happy with.
This whole process with Ben went until well after settlement (in August). He was involved in and offered help all the way through , and I couldn’t have asked for a more committed and dedicated property specialist. He truly went over and above his role as a property finder.
