Michael Wang

Originally from China, Michael moved to New Zealand when he was 15 years old. He quickly adapted to the Kiwi lifestyle and became a "Chiwi”. Michael attended secondary school in Rotorua before heading to Otago to study, and graduated from the prestigious dental school at the University of Otago.

With a dedication to excellence, Michael started his career in a dental clinic which developed his skills in attentive listening, problem-solving and an eye for detail, working alongside other professionals. Soon Michael realised those skills in a dental career can be transferred to real estate. Before joining IFP, Michael worked as a sales consultant in another company, and has joined our team as the office administrator, bringing his knowledge of real estate and information science to support the management team and other team members. With the launch of iSellProperty, Michael's skills are even more valuable in our Sale and Purchase processes, follow up, negotiation and marketing acumen.

Fluent in Mandarin, Michael is also here to provide additional support to our many Chinese clients.

Michael loves living in Rotorua and is married with a young daughter. He is an investor himself, sells for his clients and manages his own AirBnb properties.
